10/01/09 Journal Entry # 3
This week's assignment was a little more complicated then past assignments. Although I have not fully completed it yet, I can already tell that it will be a lot of work. As a class, we were told to create a Web-quest using google docs. This Web-quest that we are to complete is designed to create our own set of tabs which can lead students to the Student homepage and then back to the Teacher page. This specific web design would be used to post lesson plans, which include title, introduction, credits and resources, references, conclusions, posts, and more. I believe that this would be excellent to use in classrooms because it will allow students to view assignments and grading sheets at all times. Most students loose hard copies of worksheets and assignments. This feature allows students to always be able to view assignments from any computer location. This feature allows students to also design and develop digital-age learning, experiences, and assessments. I wish that I would have experienced some of these technological features in my classrooms growing up. It allows students to allows be aware of assignments.
